A Wallabies debut for ex-NRL star and Reds winger Suliasi Vunivalu will have to wait with the winger to miss the upcoming Tests against France with a hamstring injury.

Vunivalu hobbled off the field in Queensland's 31-24 Super Rugby Trans-Tasman loss to the Blues last weekend and Wallabies coach Dave Rennie says the injury is significant enough to rule him out of the three-Test series against the French next month.

Meanwhile, the Hurricanes will host the Reds at 7.05 tonight, the Highlanders will take on the Brumbies at 9.45 tonight, the Rebels will play the Crusaders at 4.35pm tomorrow, the Blues will face the Western Force at 7.05pm tomorrow and the Chiefs will meet the Waratahs at 9.45pm tomorrow.

A win for the Blues will see them through to the final.

That will leave the Crusaders and the Highlanders to fight for second place where both teams currently sit on 18 points with the Highlanders having a better points differential.

Both sides will need to win with a bonus point and a big margin if they are to play in the final next week.
