Vulakoro to shave hair for cancer support
Vude Queen Laisa Vulakoro will be shaving her hair to help Walk On Walk Strong raise money in supporting children suffering from cancer.

Vulakoro will take part in this cause after her experience of surviving an attack by an aggressive brain tumor in 2008.

Vulakoro said during her ordeal, the support from family and friends was the motivation for her and she is very fortunate to be alive.

She added that she hopes to raise a lot of money to support young sufferers who become bald when they receive chemotherapy treatment.

WOW's have managed to raise $31,000 since 2009 and have been working closely with Fiji Cancer Society.
