When you wear that white jersey, remember that you carry the story of a small island nation that has never been afraid to stand tall among the giants.

This was the powerful message of encouragement delivered by Acting Prime Minister Filimoni Vosarogo on social media to the Flying Fijans as they prepare to take on France tomorrow, reminding the team that they carry the pride and hopes of the entire nation.

Vosarogo says the Flying Fijians represent more than a team on the world stage, they embody the spirit, unity and resilience of a small island nation that has never shied away from standing tall among global rugby giants.

Vosarogo also acknowledged the sacrifices made by the players and the immense pressure of facing top-tier teams with significant advantages behind them.

Despite these challenges, he says the nation continues to believe in its sons.

The Flying Fijians play France at 8.10am in Bordeaux tomorrow.
