The MV Suilven Vessel is leaking fuel badly at the Suva Harbour.
Pacific Conference of Churches General Secretary Reverend James Bhagwan says the spill is bubbling to the surface covering the surf spot and going out to sea.
The Permanent Secretary for Environment Doctor Sivendra Michael confirms they are aware of the spill.

Micheal says the CEO of the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji has deployed personnel to look into this matter.
The Fiji Ports Authority says they are looking into this matter as they try to control and mitigate any deadly environmental impacts from the spill.
