Vehicle captured on CCTV in case of woman killed in alleged hit-and-run in Suva

The CCTV footage of the vehicle which was involved in a hit-and-run incident, whereby a woman died along Stinson Parade in Suva last Saturday night, has been given to the police.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Suva City Council Chair Tevita Boseiwaqa confirmed that the vehicle was captured on the newly installed CCTV camera along Stinson Parade.

Boseiwaqa says they were able to capture the vehicle, and the footage is now with the police.

The national road death toll now stands at 52, compared to 42 for the same period last year.

Questions sent to police have yet to be answered.
