Vanuakula and Natalecake Youth Clubs receive grants from the Ministry of Youth and Sports

Vanuakula Youth Club has received a grant under the Ministry of Youth and Sports Income Generating Project while the Natalecake Village Youth Club has received a grant under the Youth Farm Initiative programme.

While officiating at the grant handover ceremony, Minister for Youth and Sports, Parveen Bala says investing in the future generation of our country is a smart investment by the government.

Bala says it is not only forward looking but provides an opportunity for our youth to actively participate in the growth of our economy.

He says they are giving recognition to the skills and abilities of the youth as they are the ones who will lead the nation to a strong and prosperous future.

Bala adds the government believes that youth empowerment through their active participation in economic activities will harness the ingenuity and creativity of these youth and will help the government in building a modern and knowledge-based society.
