Value City founder Patrick Chute passes away

Prominent businessman and the founder of Value City, Patrick Chute has passed away at the age of 74.

He founded the popular pre-loved clothing store chain, Value City, in his hometown of Labasa in 1990.

Over the last 30 years, the business has opened 16 branches and 4 warehouses in Fiji.

The Chute family says Patrick played a very important role as the company consultant and advisor after he handed over the reigns to his daughter, Vera Chute.

His funeral mass will be held at the St Joseph the Worker Parish, in Tamavua at 9.30am on Wednesday
