Fiji-born Semi Valemei collected a try for the Canberra Raiders as they beat the Cronulla Sharks 34-18 in the NRL last night. The 22-year-old almost got a double in this match but was denied by a saving tackle from Sharks centre Jesse Ramien.
Other tries for the Raiders came from Jordan Rapana, Jack Wighton, Hudson Young and Xavier Savage.
Ramien, Sione Katoa and Ronaldo Mulitalo scored a try each for the Sharks.
In other results, the Roosters beat the Cowboys 34-18 and Storm thrashed the Knights 48-4.
Meanwhile, the Warriors will face the Panthers at 3.50pm today, the Broncos will take on the Wests Tigers at 6.05 tonight and the Rabbitohs will play the Bulldogs at 8.15 tonight.
