Jone Vakarisi who is charged with 3 counts of assault causing actual bodily harm, one count of act with intent to cause grievous harm, one count of breach of bail and one count of breach of suspended sentence has pleaded not guilty to the charges in the Suva High Court.
Vakarisi who is alleged to have assaulted his 28-year old wife in Nabua has been further remanded in custody.
The alleged incidents took place between the 29th of May to the 5th of June this year.
The case will be called again on the 6th of next month.
