Vaccination roll-out for children aged 5 – 11 years old will commence in the Central Division from tomorrow

The vaccination roll out for children aged 5 – 11 years old will commence in the Central Division from tomorrow, followed by the Western Division then Northern together with the Eastern Division.

Permanent Secretary for Health Dr James Fong says they are committed to equitably allocating sufficient doses to vaccinate all the 132,893 children in this age group.

Dr Fong says the Health Ministry through the 22 Sub-Divisions with their school health teams have been leveraged to carry out the planned vaccination rollout.

All school sites have been contacted to be potential vaccination sites.

The Health Facilities will also host vaccine clinics, as well as Pfizer vaccine clinics on weekends and the school holidays.
