Upsets continue in the first day of the Uprising Fiji International 7's at the TFL Stadium as the Fiji Barbarians side lost to the Wardens by 21-14 in the last hour.
The Barbarians managed to score a try through William Ryder when Wardens were given two yellow cards and were playing with only 5 players.
Wardens Coach Josateki Savou said despite the win they will have to work hard on their discipline.
And the deadly combination of New Zealand 7's coach, Gordon Tietjens and King of World 7's Waisale Serevi, did now work out well after they lost to Uprising in their first pool game by 12-7.
Former National 7's rep Marika Vunibaka scored the lone try for Digicel Matai.
Waisale Serevi featured in the side alongside Waisale Beci, Marika Vunibaka, Ponipate Kato, Esira Vueti and Michael Nabuliwaqa.
Coach Gordon Tietjens was a unhappy man and said it was a disappointing performance but they will work something out in their next game.
The Digicel Matai's next game is against Samurai at 12 minutes past 1.
Another upset sprang up in the match where Randell Kamea's Ponsonby side beat Navy, one of the top seeds in the tournament by 24-17.
Kamea scored Ponsonby's first try.
Other results from the games held so far, Samoa beat Nadroga 22-12, Red Rock thumped US Grizzlies 31-5, Samurai beat NZ Maori 26-7 and Army thrashed Les Bleu 48-nil.
