Unleaded fuel, premix, and gas prices to go down while kerosene and diesel goes today

Unleaded fuel, premix, and gas prices will drop from tomorrow; however, people will need to pay a little bit more for kerosene and diesel.

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission says that the price of unleaded fuel will go down by 5 cents from $2.61 to $2.56, and premix will drop by 5 cents from $2.45 to $2.40.

However, kerosene price will increase by 4 cents from $1.72 to $1.76, and diesel will go up by 7 cents from $2.23 to $2.30 .

The price for a 4.5kg gas cylinder will decrease by 43 cents, from $14.70 to $14.27, and a 12kg cylinder will decrease by $1.14 from $39.19 to $38.05.

FCCC says the fuel and LPG product price review in Fiji follows a one-month lag period and therefore, the local fuel and LPG prices for September are based on refined fuel and butane imports made by fuel and LPG companies in July.
