The University of Fiji is saying the 2018-2019 National Budget Consultations were not the premiere reason for the change of dates for the University's Graduation at their Saweni campus in April.
Responding to the queries raised by students at the 2018-2019 National Budget Consultation at the Suva Campus in regards to the change in dates for the Graduation, University of Fiji Registrar Kamlesh Arya says when the change of dates was made, each student was notified.
He says each graduating student was notified via email or phone call of the change of dates and between the advertisement of the previous graduation date and notification of the change, students were given a month’s lead time.
Some students of the University of Fiji had raised concerns that their graduation has been postponed because of the National Budget Consultation that will be held at the University's Saweni campus in April.
