The University of Fiji Open Day at the Saweni Campus in Lautoka is set to attract around 1,000 students from schools across the Western Division today.

This has been highlighted by the Student Recruitment Coordinator, Leone Zion during the UniFiji Open Day at the Saweni Campus as they could not host the Open Day in the past 3 years due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

Zion says this year's Open Day is the first since UniFiji acquired its global accreditation as part of the Quality Assurance Agency standards and guidelines for higher institutions this year.

He says the students will have a chance to hear first-hand information from qualified academics about the high quality and affordable education being provided at UniFiji and to take part in exciting activities such as performances, music, garden tours, tree planting and other events apart from learning about the University and all its top-level programs.

The Student Recruitment Officer also says the Samabula Campus Open Day on Tuesday was a massive success and a similar outcome is expected at the Saweni Campus.
