Uluiburotukula of ISS breaks record in sub junior boys high jump

13 year old Roko Musuka Uluiburotukula of International School Suva has won their first gold medal after a record breaking jump of 1.75 metres in the sub junior boys high jump.

Francis Peter of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School settled for silver while Apakuki Tuivinilagi of Tavua College got the bronze.

Uluiborotukula told fijivillage News that he is happy he won the gold today and dedicated the win to his parents and family.

He says he came into the games today and did not expect to win nor break the record but thanked his father for always pushing him to achieve his best and his best supporter, his grandfather in New Zealand for always having his back.
