The University of the South Pacific has clarified all its courses and programmes are offered directly by them unless otherwise advised by the University.

This comes as a poster regarding free online courses offered by USP is being circulated on social media.

USP says they have no affiliation with this programme, and the poster has not been designed or distributed with the approval of the University.

They say USP has advised its followers of the scam via a post on Facebook and has also raised a complaint with Meta.

USP is encouraging anyone who wishes to pursue their studies at the university to contact them directly.
