USP Professor Biman Prasad resigns

USP Professor Biman Prasad resigns
University of the South Pacific’s Professor of Economics, Biman Prasad has resigned from his position.

Prasad who is the former Dean of faculty of Business and Economics at USP has confirmed to Fijivillage that he will be part of the National Federation Party’s Annual General meeting this Saturday in Nadi.

When asked if he will be contesting the NFP’s leaders position, Prasad said that he has always been a member of NFP and will only comment after the meeting.

Meanwhile, the election for a leader and office bearers of the NFP will take place this Saturday.

Party President, Raman Pratap Singh said the party has capable people to lead the party.
