A woman in the US was discovered to be alive after she had been declared dead and taken to a Detroit funeral home.
NZ Herald reports paramedics tried to revive the 20-year-old woman for 30 minutes and consulted an emergency room doctor.
The report states the doctor "pronounced the patient deceased based upon medical information provided" from the scene.
It says the paramedics performed CPR and other life reviving methods for 30 minutes.
According to the report, given medical readings and the condition of the patient, it was determined at that time that she did not have signs of life.
