The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua went down 49-8 against defending Shop N Save Super Rugby champion, the Crusaders in Christchurch tonight.

The Crusaders showed class and experience to book their place in the semi finals next week.

Codie Taylor scored twice, Oli Jager, Sione Havili, Scott Barrett, Will Jordan and Willi Heinz scored a try each.

The hosts finished the match with 13 players due to injuries.

The Drua committed a lot of mistakes and the Crusaders capitalised on those mistakes.

Selestino Ravutaumada scored the only try for the Drua.

The Drua created history qualifying for the quarter finals in just their second year competing in Super Rugby.

The Crusaders will now take on the Blues in the semi finals next Friday at 7.05pm, while the Chiefs will meet the winner of the Brumbies at 7.05pm Saturday.
