Two police officers who allegedly raped a minor in Savusavu earlier this month, have been remanded in custody by the Savusavu Magistrates Court.
Police Constables Viliame Mudunasau Sowakula and Roko Namalumu, who are not related to the victim, appeared before Labasa Magistrate Amelia Vavadakua this afternoon.
They are charged with a count of rape each. The matter will be called in the Labasa High Court on the 5th of May.
