Two men in custody for aggravated robbery at Moti Street pharmacy

Two men, aged 24 and 33 years, were arrested last night for a case of aggravated robbery at a pharmacy on Moti Street.

Police say they were armed with a knife and a chopper, and forcefully entered the pharmacy, threatening the staff, and stole mobile phones, cash, and a laptop.

As soon as the report was received, the Samabula Police Operations team secured the possible escape routes and successfully arrested the two suspects.

Police say the stolen items, along with the knife and chopper used in the robbery, were recovered.

Investigation into the incident continues.
