Two men allegedly involved in meth importation, questioned and released

The two men aged 36 and 42 years who are alleged to have been involved in the importation of more than 10kg of white substances believed to be methamphetamine in Nadi last Friday have been questioned and released.

Police say a jointly controlled operation between the Fiji Police Narcotics Bureau, Fiji Revenue and Customs Service and the New Zealand Customs, resulted in the seizure.

The seized substances have been sent for analysis, and the Police are awaiting the result.
