The Suva Magistrates Court has remanded two men who allegedly assaulted a youth in Tamavua earlier this week.
18-year-old Sikiti Buliciri and 22-year-old Setoki Naitei allegedly assaulted the victim on Monday in Tamavua.
The video of the alleged incident went viral on social media.
They have been charged with one count each of common assault.
Police prosecution objected to bail and have been ordered to file an affidavit of objection next Tuesday.
Magistrate Jeremaih Savou has ordered the two charged to bring their response to court on Wednesday for a bail hearing.
