Two-time Olympic gold medalist, Jerry Tuwai will not be part of the Fiji Airways Men’s 7s side for the Toulouse and London 7s, while fellow gold medalists, Semi Kunatani and Napolioni Bolaca make a return to the team.
Tuwai misses the cut because he was not well and this hindered his preparation in the beginning of the camp.
Also included in the travelling squad are captain Tevita Daugunu, Josua Vakurunabili, Joseva Talacolo, Elia Canakaivata, Jeremaia Matana, Pilipo Bukayaro, Waisea Nacuqu, Kaminieli Rasaku, Filipe Sauturaga, Manueli Maisamoa and Vuiviawa Naduvalo.
Fiji meets Kenya at 12.34am next Saturday, they take on Wales at 8.33am Saturday and then play France at 12.34am next Sunday.
The men’s quarterfinals will start at 4.04am next Sunday, the semifinals will begin at 12.14am Monday May 23rd, and the final will be played at 4.26am on the same day.
