Tudravu urges focus on service delivery and public trust

The Fiji Police Force has been reminded of the importance of enhancing internal and external service delivery, which is a key role of leadership.

Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu stressed this at the Fiji Police Force’s Senior Operations Managers earlier this week to review the 2024–2025 financial year.

Tudravu also reminded them that all strategies and actions should align with the Police Force's goal of restoring public trust and confidence in law enforcement.

He says mapping out strategies is important for the year ahead, with a strong focus on improving public service delivery and advancing organisational reforms.

Tudravu says that as leaders, they must be efficient and proactive in handling issues that impact their ability to serve the community.

He also emphasised the importance of strengthening oversight of human resources, noting that front-line officers are the face of the Force and must uphold the values and professionalism expected of a trusted law enforcement agency.
