Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu is “filling the big shoes” of Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho who left for the United Kingdom for an extensive study placement at the Royal College of Defence Studies.
Bainimarama received a courtesy call from Tudravu yesterday.
The Prime Minister also congratulated Tudravu on his appointment.
Tudravu has been with Police for close to 38 years.
Tudravu also served with the Commonwealth Multinational Police Monitoring Group to the Solomon Islands and is the current Chairman of the Tailevu Provincial Council.
