Trough of low pressure to affect Fiji till today

An active trough of low pressure lies over the eastern part of the country and is gradually moving eastwards away from the group which is associated with cloud and rain.

The Nadi Weather Office says the trough of low pressure is expected to affect the central, eastern and northern parts of Fiji until later today.

They say Northern Division, Ra-Rakiraki, Greater Suva/Nausori-Tailevu area, Interior Ra-Naitasiri & Serua-Namosi area, Coral coast to Navua, Taveuni and Nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands will experience occasional rain and thunderstorms.
