A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over Fiji.

The Nadi Weather Office has confirmed that the associated cloud and showers currently affect the Northern parts of the group, that include the whole of Vanua Levu.

It adds that the associated cloud and showers will gradually spread to the Central and Eastern parts of the group, that include, the entire Lau group, Suva, Nausori, Navua, Lomaiviti and nearby smaller islands.

The Weather Office has also confirmed that the trough of low pressure is not expected to drift over to the Western side of Viti Levu adding that elsewhere there will be afternoon or evening showers with possible isolated thunderstorms.
