The trial of a 26-year-old man who allegedly raped and robbed a woman has started in the Suva High Court.
Niko Rokara Levula is charged with one count of burglary, one count of rape, one count of sexual assault and one count of aggravated robbery.
The woman is 37-years-old.
The accused is alleged to have broken into the woman’s house as she was sleeping, threatened and raped her before he stole her phone and assorted items.
It allegedly happened in a settlement along Khalsa Road on 5th November, 2017.
