Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu has confirmed that Totogo Police Station will continue its operations and no lockdown has been recommended by the Ministry of Health.

It was confirmed yesterday by Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor James Fong that four COVID-19 cases are under investigation from Totogo Police.

Tudravu told fijivillage that these police officers were already in home isolation when the positive results were confirmed.

He says these officers worked within different units and buildings at Totogo Police Station and all their contacts and immediate family members are in isolation.

The Acting Police Commissioner says operations will continue at Totogo Police Station with strict COVID protocols in place.
