Toorak residents to experience water disruption from Friday as WAF technicians will carry out work on a new tank

You need to store water if you are residing in Toorak, Suva as the Water Authority of Fiji technicians will be conducting works in the inlet and outlet of a new tank from 8pm this Friday until further notice.

WAF says as a result of these essential and necessary operational works, their customers in Waimanu Road, Amy street, Dudley High School, Brewster Street, Davey Avenue and Brown Street will experience a temporary disruption in their water supply.

The Authority says people in these areas should store sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days.

It adds water carting trucks are on standby and will be providing water to affected areas with priority given to CWM and Oceania Hospitals.
