Tonga eyes another big performance against Fiji after Samoa victory

The Fiji Water Flying Fijians will need to be at their best in the Pacific Nations Cup opener against Tonga at the HFC Bank Stadium this Saturday.

The Ikale Tahi of Tonga made a strong start to their campaign after defeating Manu Samoa 30-16 in Nukuʻalofa on Saturday.

Speaking to Radio New Zealand, Tongan captain Ben Tameifuna says the win over Samoa was vital for their campaign.

He adds that the job is not done yet, and the team will now re-focus on what comes next.

Tonga will face the Flying Fijians at 3pm this Saturday.
