Three talented swimmers have left our shores today as they embark on their journey to participate in the World Aquatics Championship in Fukuoka, Japan.

Tolu Young, Hansel McCaig and Kelera Mudunasoko are accompanied by their coach Willie Elaisa.

President for Fiji Swimming, Ben Rova says the swimmers did have their challenges while preparing and hopes that they will reap the benefits from their hard work.

Rova says the competition is part of the qualifying event for the Paris Olympics.

The World Aquatics Championship will start on Sunday and will conclude next Saturday.
