Toddler dies of burns after playing with kerosene
Parents are being urged in taking extra care to look after their children this festive season.

This is after a two year old child lost his life as a result of injuries from burns to his body.

Police spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the two year-old was left unattended to wander near a lovo pit in Cunningham where he played with kerosene and a box of match.

The kerosene spilled on him resulting in the child being set alight with flames from the lovo.

He was rushed to CWM Hospital but later died as a result of the burns he suffered.
