Tikoduadua released from custody while investigation file sent to DPP's office

The investigation involving National Federation Party President Pio Tikoduadua has been completed and the case file had been submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for independent legal advice.

Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Biu Matavou says that Tikoduadua has been released from Police custody.

Tikoduadua was taken in for questioning by Police at 12.35am yesterday after posting a video on Facebook where he talked about the incident where a man was allegedly thrown from the Naqia Village bridge in Wainibuka Tailevu by police officers on Saturday.
