Tikoduadua invites Qiliho to resign
Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration Pio Tikoduadua and Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho

Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration, Pio Tikoduadua says he has invited Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho to resign as they have an issue with his affiliation with the Bainimarama Government but Qiliho has asked that they follow the process of the Constitutional Offices Commission.

Tikoduadua says he has met with Qiliho and has told him that they have a matter of confidence and trust with him.

The Minister says he agrees and that is what they will do.

When approached for a response, Qiliho says he will not make any comment.
