31-year-old Lui Bale Vuibureta, also known as XKON on TikTok, has been granted bail but he first has to undergo psychiatric evaluation for three consecutive days at the St Giles Hospital.

Vuibureta is charged with one count of indecently annoying any person, one count of causing harm by posting electronic communication, and one count of criminal intimidation.

He appeared again before Magistrate Josaia Waqaivolavola this afternoon.

Vuibureta has been released on bail with two sureties, who have been warned by the court that if the accused misses a court date then they will have to pay $200 each while Vuibureta will have to pay $2,000.

One of the conditions for his release by Magistrate Waqaivolavola is that he needs to be committed to Saint Giles Hospital for his psychological evaluation from today.

Magistrate Waqaivolavola has set strict conditions including the accused to refrain from using or posting on any social media platform.

Vuibureta has also been told to deactivate his TikTok account as well as any other social media accounts and he has also been warned not to open any other accounts.

He has also been warned not to commit any civil or criminal offence.

Vuibureta is to appear in court again on October 15th for mention.
