Thrilling start to South-Eastern Zone rugby league as 49 teams compete

As the Fiji Secondary South-Eastern Zone Rugby League begins today, many talented young players are showcasing their skills on the field.

Looking at some of the results, in the U19 division Lami High defeated Nuku Secondary School 20-4, while Lelean Memorial School thumped Kalabu High School 24-0.

In the U17 division, Nasinu Secondary School thrashed Lami High School 36-0, and in the U15 division, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High defeated Nasinu Secondary School 20-0.

In upcoming matches, defending champions Naitasiri Secondary School will play Bua College in the U19 division, Queen Victoria School will face Lomary Secondary School, and Ratu Kadavulevu School will take on Nabua Secondary School.

President of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby League, Cama Toko, says that this year, 49 teams from the southeastern zone will be participating in the competition.
