Thousands of people living across Nasinu and Suva are being asked by the Water Authority of Fiji to store water for at least two to three days as there will be water disruptions.

Some of these residents started facing water disruptions since yesterday morning.

The Water Authority of Fiji says the Kalabu, Flagstaff and Nagatugatu reservoirs did not recover well to their healthy operational levels last night and as a result water levels will drop throughout the day to critical levels.

Areas affected include Valelevu, Caqiri, Nawanawa, Koka, Kinoya road, Vasant Lal Vesivesi, Yasiyasi, Amy Street in Flagstaff, Brown Street, Domain Road, High Street, Johnson Street, Laucala Bay Road, McGregor Road, Muanikau Road, Ratu Sukuna Road, Stewart Street, Spring Street, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Victoria Parade from Sukuna Park to Nasese, Sakoca, Upper Khalsa, Tacirua Heights and Nagatugatu as well as those living in Waiqanake.

Call 5777 if you need a water carting truck to come to your area.
