Thousands of people from all walks of life gathered at the ANZ Stadium to witness the historic moment when Fiji finally won its first ever gold medal at the Rio Olympics.
The crowd was behind the team from the opening whistle as every Fiji attack, pass and tackle was met with loud cheers from the crowd.
The crowd erupted when the final whistle blew.
Aakash Sharma who was at the stadium told us that they felt like they were in Rio.
