Lionel Messi says he is in a "great moment" as he prepares for what is likely to be his final World Cup.

Messi says this is probably his last World Cup, his last chance to achieve this great dream that he has.

The 35-year-old is playing in his fifth global tournament with Argentina, whose opening game against Saudi Arabia kicks off at 10 tonight.

In other matches, Denmark will play Tunisia at 1am tomorrow, Mexico battles Poland at 4am while France will play Australia at 7am tomorrow.

Looking at results from this morning, England beat Iran 6-2, Netherlands defeated Senegal 2-0 while the match between Wales and USA ended in a one all draw.
