Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Glen Jackson

Local rugby players participating in the Skipper Cup competition will have the chance to fight for a spot in the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua team as coach Glen Jackson says that the doors are still open to players if they perform.

While speaking to the media, Jackson says it does not matter if it is the Skipper Cup or overseas competitions, the doors are open to every Fijian player to prove themselves in the various competitions they are taking part in.

Jackson says since its inception, majority of the Drua players have been selected to join the Fiji Water Flying Fijians, and this clearly reflects the success of the Drua set-up.

The Drua will face the Reds at 9.35pm on Saturday.

In other matches, the Highlanders will meet the Chiefs at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Brumbies will meet the Crusaders at 9.35pm tomorrow, the Blues will face the Waratahs at 4.35pm Saturday, the Hurricanes will take on the Moana Pasifika at 7.05pm.
