The depth of Fijian Women’s 7s Rugby continues to grow - Reg Taylor

Australian A Women’s 7s Head coach Reg Taylor says he is proud of the team for winning the McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s Women’s Division trophy defeating Seahawks 28-5.

He says they faced some very good Fijian opposition, the depth of Fijian Women’s 7s Rugby continues to grow, and the Fijian players have an exciting future ahead of them.

Taylor adds that they are thankful for the opportunity to compete in the tournament.

The Coach says the world is watching Fijian Women’s Rugby following the success of the Fijiana Drua in Australia’s Super W competition.

Star player Bienne Terita says the team feels blessed to have the opportunity to travel to Fiji and be part of the return of the Coral Coast 7s.

She also thanked the Fijian fans, match officials, and all locals who took care of them during their stay and stated that Fiji is such a beautiful place to visit.
