The cross is a unifying symbol of love across faiths - Rev Turagavou
Reverend Doctor Semisi Turagavou

The cross signifies love and unity for all denominations and holds significant meaning not only from the Christian perspective but also in how it relates to the lives of individuals.

While speaking during an interview with fijivillage News, Reverend Doctor Semisi Turagavou, President of the Methodist Church of Fiji and Rotuma, shared his Easter message and emphasised that when we see the cross, we perceive the love of God and his care for sinners, willing to be crucified on their behalf.

He states that the cross is also a symbol of reconciliation, representing God's act of reconciling heaven and earth.

He adds this is a good time for the people of Fiji to spend time with their families and loved ones during this Easter weekend and he wishes everyone a blessed Easter.
