Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the country will now be able to see the impacts of reopening of our borders with more economic stability and robustness.

Sayed-Khaiyum highlighted this during the opening of a new Jokhan Real Estate Agency in Ba last night.

The Attorney General says real estate agencies help legitimise the economy.

He has encouraged the agency to continue with its investment in the country as having a real estate agency is always beneficial from an economic and accountability standpoint since it prevents any illegal transactions.

Sayed-Khaiyum is urging Fijians to always engage professional service providers in all their transactions regardless of whether they are selling their property or making a purchase.

He also handed over two donation cheques to the Ba Special School and the Greater Good Foundation during the event.
