A new political party in Samoa, The Samoa First Party, is driving a nationalistic campaign to ban future Chinese migrants into the country.
The Party announced its policy last week, outraging some in the country's sizeable Chinese community.
Its deputy leader said he wanted to "repatriate" the Chinese out of Samoa, but the comments were later withdrawn.
