The Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says that the Opposition cannot handle the truth.
Sayed Khaiyum highlighted this when the Opposition MP, Lynda Tabuya raised a point of order.
Tabuya had said that Government Whip, Alvick Maharaj during his budget address said that members of the opposition did not turn up in the budget workshop because the Opposition Leader had stopped them from finding out the truth about the budget.
Tabuya says that was not the case.
Sayed-Khaiyum says that Lynda Tabuya was misrepresenting the house in her point of order.
The Speaker then ruled that both members have made their points.
