Tens of thousands of fans gathered today at the Marine Drive in Mumbai, India to welcome Team India after they won the T20 World Cup after 17 long years.
The players were met with enthusiastic chants and applause as they people celebrated their incredible win.
The captain, Rohit Sharma says they are overwhelmed with the unwavering support from the fans.
Sharma says the number of people tell the desperation they had to win the tournament and this brought smiles on faces of crores of people.
He adds this is a special team and the trophy belongs to the nation.
