Ten public holidays for 2022

Ten public holidays have been approved by the Government for 2022.

Minister for Employment Parveen Bala says the announcement will allow Fijians and all relevant stakeholders to plan their activities for 2022.

2022 Public Holidays

1. New Year’s Day — Monday, 3 January

2. Good Friday — Friday, 15 April

3. Easter Saturday — Saturday, 16 April

4. Easter Monday — Monday, 18 April

5. Constitution Day — Wednesday, 7 September

6. Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday — Friday, 7 October

7. Fiji Day — Monday, 10 October

8. Diwali — Tuesday, 25 October

9. Christmas Day — Monday, 26 December

10. Boxing Day — Tuesday, 27 December
