Team formed to investigate aggravated robbery of Lautoka couple

A team has been formed to investigate the aggravated robbery of the Lautoka couple.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says they are pursuing some leads after gathering statements from the couple.

Roshni Lata and Ramesh Prakash were robbed and assaulted in their house in Vuda Back Road, Lautoka on Saturday night. Both of them were stabbed with screwdrivers all over their body which made it difficult for them to walk and eat.

The men got away with items and cash valued at more than $3,000. The Criminal Investigations Department visited the couple yesterday morning.
